My Story

My name is Denise Corbett and I have been a baker since I was a little girl.  My mama taught me how to bake cakes and pies when I was in the sixth grade.  She also taught me how to cook, but I am better at baking than cooking.  I enjoy the sweet smells of cakes, pies and cookies filling my home.   I have always admired someone who could create art on cookies and wanted to be able to create those cookies as well.  In the Fall of 2023, I took a 2-hour class at Open House Bakery in Greenville, NC and fell in love with it.  I love sketching designs and then creating them on cookies.  My cookies are baked from scratch and hand decorated.  I do not use a printer to add images to my cookies, so each cookie is unique.  ​Over the years I have shared my love of baking with my family and friends.  I have taught nieces and nephews how to bake and now I am teaching great nieces and nephews.  I love sharing my bake goods with family and friends.  Through their love and support, they have encouraged me to sell my cookies...so here we are. My much loved nieces and nephews and children of my friend-families call me NiNi, so I incorporated their nickname for me into my business name.  I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy creating them.
